Geex Depot LLC sells lighting into the United States — cordless and rechargeable lamps, alabaster and travertine wall lights, pendants and ceiling fixtures. A small operation in Fair Lawn, NJ; not a marketplace and not a warehouse chain.

Light where there is no outlet

A lamp with a battery in it goes on a dining table, a shelf or a terrace without an electrician or an extension lead. That used to mean a camping lantern. It no longer does. Every cordless listing states the battery capacity, the runtime and how it charges.

Cut from natural stone

Alabaster and travertine are quarried, not moulded, so the veining on every lamp is its own. Lit from inside, the whole shade glows rather than showing you the bulb. We buy by material and finish rather than by trend — and we photograph the piece rather than implying they are all identical.

How we describe things

Every listing states the dimensions, the material, the light source and, where a lamp has a battery, the runtime and how it charges. If we do not know something, it is not on the page.
